WALESKA, Ga. - The Columbia College women' s soccer team fell 4-0 on the road at Reinhardt University (Ga.) Saturday evening.
The Lady Eagles scored two first half goals in the 11th and 31st minute to lead 2-0 at the break and 8-2 in shots.
RU then added a third and fourth goal in the 56th and 61st minute respectively to clinch the win. CC managed seven shots overall, led by three on goal from sophomore forward Malia Kincaid. Junior goalkeeper Teagan Eisenring also made three saves on seven shots on goal.
Senior Defender Kimia Hughey and junior MF Kaky Sears also added shots on goal.
Columbia falls to 4-3-4 overall and 1-3-3 in the conference to sit in 10th place with the loss while RU improved to 5-3-2 overall and 5-1-2 in the conference and are in 3rd place.
The Koalas will now have a week off before returning home to host Bluefield University at 11 am next Saturday.
