Win Over Warren Wilson

SWANNANOA,NC - The Columbia College basketball team got their first win of the season this past weekend against Warren Wilson College, defeating the Owls 62-20. Senior gaurd, Kiara Fefie put up an impressive double double with 16 points and 11 rebounds. Warren Wilson's offense struggled as the Koala's defense resulted in a team total of 16 steals.

Senior center, Emmie Bland had an impressive game with 12 points and 8 rebounds helping the Fighting Koalas to make a final push to seal the victory. Columbia College looks to play Voorhees College for a second time at home, tommorrow at 6:30 p.m. in the Godbold Center.
