Basketball Wins at Home

COLUMBIA, S.C.- The Columbia College basketball team put on a dominant performance tonight against the Lady Yellow Jackets of Allen University. Led by Senior center, Emmie Bland, the Fighting Koalas out rebounded the visitors 36-30 and finished with 5 more offensive rebounds.  Bland finished the night with 16 points and 7 rebounds in the paint.

The Columbia College basketball team struggled with foul trouble early in the second half, but pulled out the win against Allen, 74-63. Junior, Krystle Remigio was 50% from behind the 3 point line finishing the game with 14 points, 4 assists, and 2 rebounds.  The Fighting Koalas are 3-4 overall and will play their final home game of the semester against Warren Wilson Saturday December 4, at 2 p.m., before finishing the month on the road.
