Basketball Signs Two

COLUMBIA, S.C. - Columbia College’s basketball program welcomed the addition of two players to the 2011-12 roster. Signing with the Koalas were Amber Poston, a senior post from Hannah-Pamplico High School in Pamplico, SC, and Coretta Johnson, who joins the team following an accomplished career at Timberland High School in St. Stephens, SC.

COLUMBIA, S.C.- The basketball team played Allen University this past Saturday in an exciting game, which showcased Columbia's desire to take charge and pull out another victory, defeating Allen 71-54 on the road.The Fighting Koala basketball team hungry for their second win after a heartbreaking loss to Voorhees College loosing 53-56.
Basketball Season to Begin

COLUMBIA, SC- Columbia College basketball is set to open their 2010-2011 season tomorrow night against Voorhees College. The Fighting Koalas return key players at the point, wing, and post while adding five to a basketball squad that looks to pick up the pace on both ends of the court.
Burns Announces Recruiting Class

Head basketball coach Stephen Burns announced the addition of ten new players for the 2009-10 season. The recruiting class marks seven talented freshmen, one red-shirt freshman, and two transfer students.
Koalas Host Summer Basketball Camp

The Koalas basketball coaches wrapped up their 2008 summer sports camp on Friday, August 1. The camp was held Monday through Friday, July 28 August 1, for boys and girls in elementary through high school.

Stephen Burns, head basketball coach, announced the signing of three players for next years team. Kiristen Robinson, Maria Dunbar, and Desiree Oneal will join the Fighting Koalas basketball team when school starts in August.
