Volleyball Rebounds Against SWU

The Fighting Koalas' volleyball team snapped a season high seven game losing streak with a strong 3 set victory over visiting Southern Wesleyan University.

Southern Wesleyan University came into Tuesday matchup secured in third place in the SSAC with a six game winning streak, but the Koalas put together a balanced game to take the win 25-23, 25-27, 25-20.  Serving was a large key to the Columbia College victory as they won the serving battle with 10 aces to the Warriors 3.  Janelle Fetui recorded another double double with 11 kills, 15 digs, and 4 aces. Senior Brittany Strickland recorded a match high 24 digs.

The volleyball team will try to avenge their earlier loss to Berry College on Saturday, November 1, at 3 pm in the Godbold Center.
