Softball Picks Up Chessie Miller

LAKE VIEW, S.C.- Coach James Morrisson signed Chessie Miller from Lake View High School on December 9th, 2010. Miller, entering her senior season, has been an All State player since her eighth grade year and was named 1A Player of the Year after her freshman season.

Coming into her senior season Miller has earned 173 hits, 146 runs, and 126 rbi's, the most of anyone ever at Lake View. Miller joins her sister Michelle at Columbia College and her parents Lisa and Michell couldn't be prouder. Chessie was joined by her parents and Lake View's coaching staff during her signing.

Coach Morrison said is confident in adding Miller saying, "She possesses great character, with a good academic background. Chessie is they type of player you can build a team around".
